With their latest single, indie band Mylk bring out a much-needed rock party that’s equal parts fun and energetic. Forming in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, Mylk have steadily released a handful of well-received indie-alternative singles.
Their newest, “Holy Moly”, is sure to turn heads (much like the exclamative title suggests). The band’s eclectic indie vibe is amplified by pure energy on this track as each member adds their own special vitality to the overall sound.

Hard-hitting drumbeats and a steady yet playful bassline color the song with an absolutely danceable groove. Bouncy guitar hooks add a poppy catchiness alongside earworm vocal melodies until the song explodes with ferocity in the chorus.
A muddy wall of guitar chords and pounding drum hits bookend the frontman’s wailing vocal hook: “HOLY MOLY!” before settling back into a familiar musical furrow. It’s a roller-coaster ride from start to finish.
Clocking in at just over three minutes of high-energy indie rock, “Holy Moly” is a tightly-packed alternative bop that offers a welcoming rush of fun.
