Viral Rico Blanco statement on Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings' "cheating" chats not true

Social media users were recently misled by a post circulating on Facebook, claiming to feature a statement from OPM icon Rico Blanco about the alleged "cheating" convos between his ex-girlfriend Maris Racal and actor Anthony Jennings. The post, shared by a popular satire page named Blah blah, falsely claims that Blanco had detailed his personal feelings about his past relationship with Racal and his thoughts on her connection with Jennings.

The report was written in Filipino and quickly gained traction online, quoting Blanco as saying he had long known the truth behind the changes in his relationship with Racal, particularly after her collaboration with "Toning" (Jennings), whom the post alleges was the cause of a shift in Racal's behavior. According to the fabricated quote, Blanco expressed feeling confused and saddened by her alleged coldness toward him and a supposed loss of joy in their relationship.

The post further claimed that Blanco attributed these changes to Racal's desire to "explore" and that with the help of Jennings' ex-girlfriend Jamela Villanueva, the mystery had been solved, bringing him peace.

These statements are not true.
