Munimuni's 2nd WKMPG show happening January 31

Indie folk band Munimuni will return to the stage for their second Wala Kaming Maisip na Pangalan ng Gig (WKMPG2) on January 31 (Friday) at Street Kohi in Quezon City. Following the success of the first installment with Coeli last year, the band promises another unforgettable night filled with acoustic performances and good music—this time with Jan Roberts as the special guest.

It's Munimuni's first time performing at the popular QC cafe. The event will start at 7:00 p.m., and the five-piece and Roberts will be playing long acoustic sets. Fans can expect a laid-back but intimate evening with stripped-down performances from both acts. "Acoustic gig (acoustic gig?!?!?) nga pala ito. Lahat ng kanta, acoustic," Munimuni said in a Facebook post. Jan Roberts will also be celebrating the release of his new single, "U-Belt", which drops on the same night.

Munimuni announced the show last week, revisiting the debut gig at Brewing Point, which they jokingly titled Wala Kaming Maisip na Pangalan ng Gig for the lack of a proper title. The event was a success, with the group admitting to being surprised people showed up despite it falling on a Wednesday, saying, "Intimate gig lang on a random weekday. Music music lang."

Tickets for WKMPG2 are priced at P500, and with the show almost half-sold out as of writing, fans are encouraged to grab their tickets soon.
