That's right. The Bogmen, who last released an album in 1998, have reunited and are set to release a new record on May 31. In anticipation of the forthcoming effort In My Kingdom, the band today released "Summer of Soul" as the third and final single.

Members Billy Campion and Brendan Ryan produced the track, which was recorded at The Carriage House in Stamford, Connecticut, by engineer Phil Palazzolo. "'Summer of Soul' is a song that came out of the strange days of the pandemic in the summer of 2020," guitarist Billy Ryan said in a press statement, adding, "They were dark days indeed compounded by the loss of a dear friend. It was a song that Brendan and I had with a working title 'My Shangri-La'. Billy Campion took the music and wrote some pretty heavy lyrics."

The track's release is accompanied by a music video directed by long-time Bogmen collaborator Chris Cassidy, which features a hybrid approach combining filtered green screen and multi-cam footage from the group's live performance at Webster Hall in New York, suiting the timeless art and style The Bogmen have made a mark creating through the years.
