Atlanta indie rockers bandanna burst onto the scene with their debut LP, a moving collection of impressive alternative rock tunes.
Starting out at the humblest of beginnings, bandanna formed in a Tallahassee garage in 2018 before eventually making waves with the release of a couple well-received singles, one of which was featured on Spotify’s popular Fresh Finds.
Fueled by a growing fan base and an engaging stage presence, the band moved to Atlanta where they started work on the 10-track full-length. The album, titled Uncertain/ty, was released last month and proved to be a striking debut which shows off bandanna’s talent as skilled musicians and observant songwriters.
Standout single “Ghost Home” is a delicate piece of indie pop that blends beautiful melodies with a fierce alternative energy. The track opens with pretty, lilting vocals courtesy of lead singer Anna Griffith while reserved guitar work sets the scene for the track’s emotional soundscape.
A burst of energy brought on by powerful guitar chords and a driving piano melody breathes life into the track, elevating its catchy indie presence. In short, bandanna’s latest project is a hard-earned indie tour de force of nostalgia, love, and elegance.
