Having someone beside you through it all is just amazing. You both have someone to share your feelings with, or maybe even vent to when you get way too frustrated. The best part is the fact that this doesn’t have to be your lover; it could be a family member, a friend, who knows it could also be your fluffy six-month-old Shih Tzu. What matters most is that you aren’t alone.
Tulsa-based brother music duo POLYDRIVE tug on the thankfulness you have for this lifeline with their latest single, “By My Side”. Recorded and produced right in their bedroom studio, it’s safe to say that this song is an absolute banger and that Cam and Cole Tessier are hands down talented at what they do.
The song is poppy, but the punk and grunge elements definitely shine through. What’s cool is the fact that the grungy guitar sounds you hear throughout the song come from a fifty-nine dollar guitar the pair bought off of Amazon. And well, if you ask us, then it was a pretty good deal because the song probably won’t be the same without it.
Also, the duo’s voices fit the genre so well that after listening to “By My Side” for the first time, you won’t ever doubt that this is exactly what they are meant to do.

Hans is an engineering student with a growing dismay for math. As ironic as that sounds, he’s always looking for a break from digesting numbers and symbols by indulging in things he likes instead: music, writing, and video games. This guy is also the type to hog the microphone on karaoke night, so be careful when you’re inviting him for some singing over drinks.
