Every sweet, soulful melody that singer-songwriter Robert Garbett comes out with is pure testament to his raw and transparently sincere persona. Describing his style as “sometimes obscure but eloquently poetic in nature,” the 28-year-old Robfullstop (or simply Rob.) is able to “take listeners on a journey from fear to comfort and safety,” a fan wrote, and evokes mixed emotions only he can induce, we concur.
His more recent release, “Political”, saw a noticeable shift in Garbett’s writing approach, but the tastefully angsty track, rather than introduce a completely different Rob., simply demonstrated his ability to shift between genres without compromise to his roots.
