Um, this ain’t rock and roll, folks. Sorry.

This is obviously beyond just that. It’s Conrad Ashton rock and roll, baby!

The Newcastle-based one-man band is specially known for his ever-evolving, no-frills approach to writing and producing indie rock gems. Ashton, who happens to be a constant student of music, introduces an original mix of modern rock and classic pop in a manner that is undeniable.

Influenced by no less than a matchless roster of music gods, Ashton’s sheer ability to create relatable tunes that keep fans on the lookout is without doubt his biggest asset. His poetic, wittily raw lyricism perfectly suits his expressive, groovy—and wantonly bluesy—sound that is germane to his modus operandi.

Although it seems that Ashton is a very occupied musician who has not the luxury of time, considering the pretty long gaps between his releases, the works he has since put out a little over four years since his 2015 debut album, One for the Road, prove they’re worth the wait.

Out just a couple of weeks ago, “Time” marked Conrad Ashton’s second reintroduction to the music scene since his official comeback with “Anna Jean” last year. And yep, according to him a new EP is following shortly this time around.
