Honey I'm Home capture haunting atmosphere in debut live session

Honey I'm Home, a rising force in the alternative music scene, have released their first official recording, a live session filmed at a notoriously haunted mansion in Hampstead, London. The eerie, atmospheric location—Netherhall Gardens—famous for its ghostly reputation made the perfect spot for the band's melancholic, shoegaze-infused sound.

Under the direction of Sydney-based producer Blain Cunneen (known for his work with Julia Jacklin and Human Noise), the quintet performed three songs: "Stop Sign", "Wishful Thinking", and "Happier". These songs echo the band's unique blend of atmospheric guitars, deeply personal lyrics, and a visceral emotional range that has already captivated audiences across Europe. The live session, shot late at night in the mansion's deserted halls, reflects the group's penchant for combining dark, cinematic visuals with their haunting music. The VHS horror-inspired aesthetic, with its Super 8 film vibes and dark fantasy undertones, has become central to their artistic brand.

Although still early in their career, Honey I'm Home have already established themselves with notable live performances, including shows supporting Goat Girl in Berlin and Hotline TNT in Amsterdam. Their dynamic range is evident, shifting from intimate moments to explosive climaxes with effortless ease.

This first official release is a great sampler of their unique approach to blending sound and visuals, bringing into the spotlight the band's melancholic yet captivating allure.
